Welcome to Restaurant Marrees

“ A very chic Michelin-starred restaurant near Weert station. The staff is friendly and explains what you'll be served at the table. I've dined at Marrees several times. Each time we were there, everyone in my party received an amuse-bouche (we were served a different amuse-bouche each time), along with olives and a warm bun of bread with butter, sea salt, and olive oil (free of charge). They also explained what to expect with the amuse-bouches. Moreover, the dishes were fantastic every time! Not only is the presentation of the food/plate beautiful, but all the dishes were delicious! The only downside was the French fries (both the regular ones and the ones with truffle (see photos for both versions of the French fries)), which I unfortunately didn't find very tasty. Since the menu changes with the seasons, some of the dishes I photographed are no longer included in the menu that is currently online. This does not apply to the appetizers, by the way, which remain partly unchanged. The first two photos show the 'smoked eel' and the 'vegetable croquettes'. I also found it particularly hospitable that I received two soufflés with my dessert (see photos) instead of one. Because the soufflés had collapsed/failed, they made two just in case, and since they both turned out well, I was given both! Really sweet! In short, a wonderful and welcoming Michelin-starred restaurant with friendly staff serving delicious food! ”

“ This almost hidden restaurant is an outstanding house for gourmets. We took the All in menu with selected wines and we just went from wow to Wow!. I highly recommend you quickly offer yourself this treat before it takes months to reserve a table to this Michelin star promised place... ”

“ We went for Valentine's Day dinner. Having flowers delivered and beautifully presented was no problem. Upon arrival, we were immediately pampered! The service was excellent, without being too "posh," but just right. The dishes were excellent; the chef presented the main course himself! The wine pairing was excellent; I've put a few wines on my list to enjoy at home. We're not photographers, so perhaps the photos don't do the food justice. But we can say it was delicious! We'll definitely be back, whether for drinks or another delicious dinner. ”

“ A beautiful restaurant in the center of Weert. The decor is sleek and tasteful. The welcome is friendly. To start, there's a wide selection on the cocktail menu. You can dine à la carte or choose from various set menus. Naturally, there's a wine list or you can choose the accompanying wines. The plates are beautifully presented, the flavors are pure, and the matching wines are perfect. It was a perfect and delicious experience. ”
